Clayton-Little was founded in 2013 by experienced attorneys Wes Clayton, who began practice in 1984, and John Little, who began practice in 1991, to meet the needs of several existing clients of the partners and to more efficiently provide excellent legal work to scale for those clients. Both Wes and John are from Jackson and share a lifelong passion for serving their community through excellent work and consistent values. Our team dedicates their time and energy to provide you with excellent legal services, including probates, estates, mediation, litigation, and employment law for businesses, individuals, and insurance companies. In addition, partner Jay Bush, who began practice in 2004, is the Madison County attorney and devotes a significant amount of time to advising the county and other municipalities regarding governmental affairs. As mediators, the Clayton-Little team has a high rate of success in resolving lawsuits outside the courtroom. An accomplished attorney who has been practicing law since 1983, Wes Clayton co-founded Clayton-Little in 2013. Since then, he has worked tirelessly to grow the firm, establishing a reputation for excellence and caring for his clients. Mr. Clayton’s professional accomplishments and memberships include: Tennessee and American Bar Associations, Tennessee Bar Association Fellow, Jackson-Madison County Bar Association Member and Former Treasurer, and admittance to the Tennessee Supreme Court. After years of dedicated and exemplary work, we are sad to see Wes go but overjoyed to have been his friends and colleagues. We wish him all the joy in the world in retirement and are forever grateful for his impact on our lives and firm.
